What is a Digital Signature Certificate?
A Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) is the electronic equivalent of a signature on paper. In India it is issued by Certifying Authorities licensed under the Information Technology Act, 2000, and it is used to sign documents and online filings such as income tax returns, GST returns, MCA forms and government tenders.
